Circulating Design Scheme record card.

The record card captures tour dates and locations, object lists (including stock numbers and descriptions) and supplier information. This record card relates to the Modern British Glass, Pottery, Metal, Wood and Textiles display.

Schools taking part in the Circulating Design Scheme received a record card and a reference photograph for each individual case. Record cards were used to transcribe details of the tour programme and record key exhibit information.

The record card was in use from around 1970 – 1976.

The record card is made up of two parts that were taped together; the two parts have been separated for conservation purposes.
