Interview with artist Shane Sutherland on their artwork, Meditations of the In/Corporeal, for the UAL Art Collection.

Recorded in July 2023. In this video, UAL Art Collection Curator Lucie Pardue interviews the artist Shane Sutherland, who graduated from BA Photography at London College of Communication in 2021.



The UAL Art Collection commissioned a new piece of work from the artist. The result was an immersive virtual reality film titled Meditations of the In/Corporeal, 2022 (object reference UAC 1061). The work employs new digital techniques as Shane says, to ‘explore the battlefield of the body, through ideas of the binary and those who dare to resist and defy it’.
