Wimbledon College of Arts Archive

The collection documents the history of Wimbledon College of Arts. This includes images of students and staff members at work in studios and places local to Wimbledon. Staff shown include Gerald Cooper, Principal from 1930-1964; Freda Skinner, Head of Sculpture 1945-1971; and James Turner, sculpture tutor, c 1950s-1960s. There are also photographs of theatre productions from the 1960s and 1970s. The costume and set designs were created by students.
