The menu and a booklet of illustrations to go with Stanley Morison's speech on prelims, created for the 15th Double Crown Club Dinner.
The dinner was chaired by Harold Child and held on 26 October 1927. The menu consists of six printed sides within a colour printed pink paper cover. It was designed by Frank Sidgwick and printed at the Westminster Press, London. The booklet contains the prelims (initial pages before the main text) of Ben Johnson's 'English Grammar', Conan Doyle's 'The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes', Dampier-Whetham's 'Politics and the Land', Christopher Morley's 'The Arrow' and Laurence Housman's 'Uncle Tom Pudd'.
