35mm colour slide of degree show installation of six sculptures of varying mediums, sizes and styles.

Annotation on slide mount BA Show 1982/3. Date stamp Jul 83.

Identified by former student Mark Ingham in 2021, with the following note: "I graduated from Chelsea in 1983 from the Sculpture department and there is one record of the work I had in the degree show...My works are the two wooden sculptures in the background in front of the large painted wall which was my year 3 sketch book.

The large sculpture on the right hand side of the slide you could enter and walk around in through a secret opening and led you to a strange space where the walls echoed and mirrored the shapes of the outside. This often caused disorientation for the viewers.

The ‘palm tree’ sculpture was one that people used to dance around and interact with in ways I had not expected. It was the piece that moved me from making sculpture in the round to more installation type work.

At present I am a Reader in Critical and Nomadic Pedagogies, a National Teaching Fellow, and a UAL Senior Teaching Scholar base at LCC. I have now been working and studying on and off at UAL for 41 years."
