35mm colour slide of wall mounted piece in slightly textured grey tones.

Date stamp 'Jun 74'.

Note from creator and former student: Chris Hamblin: "They were part of a series of untitled paintings all the same size 60”x44” in a variety of media.

No 14: Cotton Duck black and white acrylic paint.

No 13: Polythene sheet and torn Clear Fablon Self Adhesive sheeting, black and white acrylic paint.

This one is the only transparent one.

The other works were rolled up in 1985 when I ran out of storage space, but these two have been on my walls since 1974. That square one, might be in the roll, who knows?

They were a form of action destruction/creation painting, tearing and pasting, all made on the wall and shown at that same height (with eye level about 1/3 down from top) The result random, yet curiously with visually ambiguous effects."
