35mm colour slide of print of aeroplane in orange and purple tones.

Annotation on slide mount 'Mike Middleton 73/ 74'.

Note from creator and former student Mike Middleton, who was on the Printmaking Postgraduate Course:

"1974-003 Title Cap Bomb medium Lino Cut Edition of 6.

Most of my work during this period was based on UFOs and flying saucers and space themes. The Cap Bomb print is based on a child's toy. My ambition during the year was to make 30 prints and I think I achieved this aim!

Whilst at college I started applying for teaching posts and in Sept.1974 I started teaching at Loughton College of Further Education. In 1989 I moved to Colchester Art School and taught there until 2014.

Over the years I have continued to produce prints and paintings and I am a fellow of The Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and a fellow of the Royal Watercolour Society.

I show regularly at the Bankside Gallery which is next to Tate Modern."
