Circulating Design Scheme record card.
The record card captures tour dates and locations, object lists (including stock numbers and descriptions) and supplier information. This record card relates to case number 2, group Metal 3B, from the Metals are Joined By display.
Schools taking part in the Circulating Design Scheme received a record card and a reference photograph for each individual case. Record cards were used to transcribe details of the tour programme and record key exhibit information.
The record card was in use from 1971 – 1974.
The double sided record card has an additional piece of paper affixed to the front with adhesive tape. The record card is made up of two parts that were taped together; the two parts have been separated for conservation purposes.
