The menu for the 36th Double Crown Club Dinner, which was chaired by Tom Balston and held at the Cafe Royal on 18 January 1933.

The menu was designed by Christian Barman. It is printed on thick cardboard cut into a rectangular shape with a tab at the base and decorated on one side with text and images from the Constable and Company edition of George Bernard Shaw's 'The Adventures of the Black Girl in her Search for God', which was designed and engraved by John Farleigh. Farleigh was the speaker, introducing the topic 'Illustartion and the Book'. The menu includes his brief professional biography and space for notes on his speech.
