The invitation and two copies of the menu for the 52nd Double Crown Club Dinner, which was chaired by Holbrook Jackson and held at the Cafe Royal on 19 December 1935.

The speaker, on lettering, was member Percy Smith. The invitation, sent to Hubert Foss at the Oxford University Press, includes details of a General Meeting to be held directly before the dinner to consider two further candidates, Michael Fletcher and Graham Sutherland, for election. The menu was designed by Desmond Flower and printed at the Curwen Press. It is printed on four sides.
