"Rich emblematic design" in eau-de-nil, gilt, and emerald green incorporating: flattened hearts surmounted by coronets composed of smaller hearts; roses on symmetrical erect and curved stems, leaves on erect stems, all sprouting from a candelabrum base; teardrops; and slabs. Matching spine with title and vol. no. in hand-drawn sans serif capitals on a blocked gilt heart enclosing a coronet over a small heart containing the vol. no. Signed TM (LO/C32).
