Design: on the front cover, an elaborate architectural frame in black outline, the title in an upper panel in sans serif architectural capitals, branching lines from bottom centre creating a cupped shape with a stem bearing a poppy seed-capsule, two outer stems terminating in gilt reniform or "peacock crest" motifs, which are repeated below in deep jade green with slabs of the same colour; small spaced circles blocked in gold and black; across the top the biblical quotation Nisi Dominus aedificaverit domum completed on the back cover with in vanum laboraverunt qui aedificant cam; matching back cover and spine.
