Design in gilt (on spine only): the spine divided into five bands, in the first, third and fifth a motif consisting of a small stylised heart enclosing a pair of commas in mirror image and supported by a serifed stem, two outlinedrectangular frames, one vertical and the other horizontal, intersecting the heart, the vertical one superimposed; two pairs of dots on either side of the motif at top and bottom; the series title and the title with volume no. respectively in serifed capitals in bands two and four.
