Dark forest green cloth boards.
Design in gilt (on front cover and spine only): an outline reniform shape laid over a horizontal blocked slab; rising from the base a candelabrum of eleven stems: three in the centre bearing roses, flanked by stems spreading lowto the extremities and rising vertically before joining to form a rectangular frame with downward bowed top; on either side of the central roses a pair of stems bearing erect buds in relief against the blocked slab, with a tall stem bearing seven pointedleaves in the middle of each pair; inverted teardrops at the base. On the spine, author & title in architectural sans serif capitals punctuated with inverted teardrops, the top and bottom decorated with the same triple rose motif as on the first poetry series. Unsigned (LO/C32). Design identical to the first poetry series design on cloth. Second form. Grey-green endpapers signed TM, with a design of entwined stems and a scatter of roses both on the stems and on the background (LO/C32).
