The menu and Hubert Foss' handwritten placecard for the 43rd Double Crown Club Dinner, which was to be chaired by John Johnson and held at the Cafe Royal on 2 May 1934.
Members Graily Hewitt, Holbrook Jackson and James Shand were to read short papers on the typography of William Morris and Sir Sydney Cockerell was to be a guest speaker on the subject of the Kelmscott Press. The menu was designed and printed by Walter Lewis. It consists of four printed sides within a blue cardboard cover, with details printed in red.
