The poster features two slogans, the first 'A SAFE HOLIDAY' is in red text on the base of the triangle in the image.
The second, 'BE COURTEOUS ON THE ROAD' is in grey, except the word courteous which is yellow, and diagonally crosses the road in the image. Both have the appearance of moving. The image is a red triangle [as on warning road signs] superimposed over a road that stretches into a yellow landscape, with blue sky and flying white birds. The road is still visible through the triangle. The greys of the road appear like brush strokes and give the appearance of movement and the landscape fades to the edges. The background colour is white. Measures, 76cm by 49.5cm. Printed by, Loxley Bros Ltd.
