Torso piece, part of a costume for a dancer.
The designer of the accessory is unknown. The accessory would have been worn on stage during a Ballet Russes production, c.1909-1929. The production is also unknown.
The body piece is made from leather, it has applique decoration to front including a red triangle at centre. The body piece fastens around the neck and waist. To the reverse is a name written in ink “Koshminska”, possibly the name of a dancer or character.
