Design (on front cover and spine only): within a frame with spaced circles at the base, a calligraphically sketched peacock in three-quarter view, a unicursal line forming the neck, head and part of the tail, scattered open circles representing the eyes of the tail, all in white. Over the head a gilt bud representing the crest. Title and author in elaborate hand-drawn gilt italics. Matching spine. Unsigned (LO/C32).
